Getting around UCD
Meals will be held in California Hall. Participants will start the day in California Hall.
Main plenary sessions will be held in California Hall.
Breakout Sessions will be held in the Student Community Center and the Memorial Union. Locations by breakout session noted on agenda.
We encourage you to wear walking shoes and bring a water bottle to take advantage of filtered drinking water available at hydration stations throughout campus.
Parking at UCD
Parking is available in:
Lot 25 off of LaRue Rd and Orchard Rd.
Quad Parking Structure on Howard Way.
Participants will need to pay for parking. UC Davis uses ParkMobile, an app that allows drivers to conduct parking permit transactions from their mobile devices. Our daily rates range from $2.00-3.60, for students, staff and faculty to $12/day for visitors. Hourly parking is available for $1.50/hr. Please install the app prior to July 26.
Visitors with a disabled placard/plate may park without displaying an additional permit, and may park in spaces where UC Davis DSA permits are honored. Disabled placards/plates are not valid in restricted spaces (such as 1 hour A permit spaces), loading zones, red zones, center core and reserved areas.

UC Davis Guest wireless is an open system: Once you connect to this WiFi SSID open your browser to create a session on this network. You will either be emailed or texted your password for the week. You will use this to sign in on the UC Davis Wifi site.This session should allow you to connect to this WiFi for up to 5 days. There is no cost to use this WiFi
What to Wear
It will be HOT and it will be a dry heat.
My best advice is to wear breathable fabric and comfortable walking shoes.
