Covid Protocol

As of the week of July 19, 2022 below are the current Covid protocol's in place for this meeting for all attendees

CDC Community Level in Yolo County is HIGH

All (non-Berkeley Lab Staff) attendees will need to complete a Visitor Certification of Vaccination Form. This form will be provided to all attendees by email prior to the meeting. Attendees will complete the form and bring it with them to the meeting. The organizing Administrative staff will review the form visually. We will not be collecting or retaining this information in any form.

If you are not yet fully vaccinated, not vaccinated, or decline to respond to the "Visitor Certification of Vaccination Form" we will require a negative COVID-19 test within the previous 72 hours prior to the kick-off of this meeting on July 26.

Masks are required indoors unless actively eating or drinking.

Masks are required outdoors if standing or sitting within 6ft of others unless actively eating or drinking. For those who would like to distance while eating we will make sure to provide you with locations to do so.

Do not come to the event if you have had any new and unusual symptoms of COVID-19 (not attributed to a previously known medical condition) in the last 24 hours.

Prior to coming to the event, attendees are required to assess if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms. If they are, they may not come to the event.

  • Chills

  • Cough that is not associated with seasonal allergies

  • Feeling feverish and/or your temperature is 100 deg F or more*

  • Headache

  • Muscle pain

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Repeated shaking with chills

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Sore throat


*Taking your temperature is recommended as the best way to determine fever, but is not required.

LBNL attendees must check for symptoms as outlined in the Symptom Screener and on the covid.lbl.gov website.

  • Do not attend the event if you have symptoms or tested positive.

  • If you had a close contact, contact Health Services at 510-486-6266, unless you have already spoken with them and received guidance.

Non-LBNL attendees should check for symptoms as outlined in the Visitor Protocols.

  • Do not attend the event if you have symptoms or tested positive.

  • If you had a close contact, follow CDC guidance on quarantine and isolation or the guidance of their affiliated institution or employer, if applicable.
